　大相撲春場所後に第７１代横綱となった鶴竜の昇進披露パーティーが１４日、東京都内で開かれた。日本相撲協会の北の湖理事長や横綱白鵬ら約８００人が出席した。

　会見に同席した師匠の井筒親方（元関脇逆鉾）は「横綱は成績が良くないと引退しないといけない。喜びもあるが、苦しみが８割ぐらい」と本音を漏らした。
