「ｓｅｃｒｅｔ　ｂａｓｅ～君がくれたもの～」のヒットで知られるガールズバンド、ＺＯＮＥが４月７日で活動を終えることが２日、分かった。「著しい不品行及び度々の業務不履行」を理由にボーカル兼ギターのＭＩＹＵこと長瀬実夕（２４）が先月１３日付で所属事務所との契約を解除されたことを受け、唯一のメンバーとなったベースのＭＡＩＫＯ（２６）が決断した。


　ＭＡＩＫＯはＨＰで「大変なご心配、ご迷惑をお掛けしました」と謝罪し、「今後どのように活動を行うか考えた結果、私自身の手でＺＯＮＥを終了させることを決意しました」と説明。


　続けて「４月７日のイベントで今まで応援してくださった皆さんと共に１曲１曲噛みしめながらＺＯＮＥというＢＡＮＤにピリオドを打ち、全てを思い出に変えていけたらいいなと思っています」と、渋谷Ｏ－ＥＡＳＴでラスト公演を行うことも発表した。


　ＺＯＮＥは２００１年に４人組でメジャーデビューし、同年から３年連続でＮＨＫ紅白歌合戦に出場。ドラムのＭＩＺＵＨＯ（２６）の脱退を機に０５年、解散したが、１１年８月に３人で再結成。同１０月にギターのＴＯＭＯＫＡ（２６）が脱退し、さらに実夕がライブやイベントを無断で休み、連絡が取れなくなったとして事実上のクビになっていた。
